FORT WORTH, Texas (Nov. 7, 2025) – Texas Motor Speedway, along with Denton County and the City of Fort Worth, have initiated a pair of construction projects to enhance fan experience at the world-renowned motorsports and entertainment facility.

The speedway is currently in the midst of a repaving project for approximately 3.5 miles worth of roadways around the venue. The project will provide new asphalt for roughly 25 percent of the Fan Zone area, as well as the tram route on the west end of the facility. Campers and haulers utilizing Allison Avenue for South Tunnel access will also reap the benefits from the new roadway, along with facility rental customers.

The project is set to be completed by January.

In addition to the work on property, Denton County and the City of Fort Worth are teaming up for a $5 million construction project at the intersection of Highway 114 and Championship Parkway. New left turn lanes and traffic signals for the northbound and southbound sides are planned to be installed plus pedestrian curb ramps, ADA certified ramps and new signage.

The project is currently in the bidding phase and is expected to be completed in January of 2028, according to city documents.
