The roar of high-powered engines will once again fill the air at Texas Motor Speedway as NASCAR returns to Fort Worth in 2027 for a tripleheader weekend April 30-May 2.

The weekend will feature a race every day on the 1.5-mile tri-oval, highlighted by the WÜRTH 400 presented by LIQUI MOLY NASCAR Cup Series race on Sunday, May 2. Sunday’s marquee event marks the 47th Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway.

The NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series will jumpstart the weekend on Friday, April 30 with the SpeedyCash.com 250, followed by the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series Andy’s Frozen Custard 300 on Saturday, May 1.

Texas Motor Speedway is coming off a highly successful NASCAR tripleheader weekend that featured sold-out grandstands on Sunday. The capacity crowd included fans from all 50 states, the District of Columbia and more than 15 countries as far away as Australia, Japan, Colombia, Germany, England and Spain. The weekend also saw NASCAR stars Carson Hocevar (SpeedyCash.com 250), Kyle Larson (Andy’s Frozen Custard 340) and Chase Elliott (WÜRTH 400 presented by LIQUI MOLY) celebrate in Victory Lane.

“Our fans have embraced the first weekend of May as evident by our sold-out grandstands on Sunday and increased attendance across all three series,” Texas Motor Speedway Executive Vice President and General Manager Mark Faber said. “The atmosphere and energy of the weekend is among the best on the NASCAR circuit. We’re excited to build on the momentum from the last few years and deliver another outstanding tripleheader weekend for fans from across Texas, the U.S. and around the world.”

The NASCAR tripleheader weekend at “The Great American Speedway” remains one of the best family-friendly values in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Children 12 and under receive free admission on Friday and Saturday (with ticketed adult) and can attend the WÜRTH 400 presented by LIQUI MOLY NASCAR Cup Series race for only $10 (with ticketed adult). In addition to on-track action, the mile-long Fan Zone features free entertainment acts, NASCAR driver appearances and various activities for visitors.
