FORT WORTH, Texas (December 3, 2025) – In the spirit of the holiday season, Speedway Children’s Charities gifted $249,672 to 37 Dallas-Fort Worth non-profit organizations Wednesday night at its annual grant ceremony presented by Texas Regional Bank at Texas Motor Speedway.
The 37 organizations serve the critical, medical and educational needs of more than 10,000 children in Collin, Dallas, Denton and Tarrant counties. SCC-Texas also distributed 100 new bicycles that were assembled and provided by Fidelity Investments on Monday to three different non-profit organizations that will gift them to less fortunate children in North Texas.
The following organizations received grants during the grant ceremony: After8toEducate, Alliance for Children, Arlington Life Shelter, Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County, CASA of Collin County, Children’s Advocacy Center for North Texas, Inc., Christian Community Action, Christ’s Haven for Children, Community Partners of Dallas, Cook Children’s Foundation, Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center, Denton County Friends of the Family, Family Compass, Family Gateway Inc., Frisco Fastpacs, God’s Company dba Food for the Soul, Helping Hands for Little Hearts, HOPE Farm, Inc., Hope Local, Hope Supply Co., Journey to Dream Foundation, Kiwanis Youth Services Inc., Lovepacs, Metrocrest Services, Network of Community Ministries, Neuro Assistance Foundation, Pedi Place, Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth, Sharing Life Community Outreach, Inc., Sleep in Heavenly Peace, Inc., Sower of Seeds International Ministries, Inc., Tarrant Area Food Bank, Teen Life, Traffick911, Under 1 Roof and Union Gospel Mission.
In addition to the grants that SCC-Texas distributed, SCC-Circuit of The Americas delivered a $37,672 flood relief grant to the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country.
“We are thrilled to support our 2025 grant recipients and the important work they are doing in our community,” SCC-Texas Executive Director Marissa Chaney said. “These grants will directly impact children in North Texas who are facing critical needs, ensuring they receive the care, resources and opportunities they deserve. We are honored to stand alongside these incredible organizations and continue our mission of helping every child see a future with no limits.”
Following the ceremony, all attendees were treated to a stunning fireworks show provided by Ben E. Keith before enjoying a drive-in style showing of the 2018 animated version of the classic, “The Grinch.” The holiday movie, sponsored by Coca Cola Southwest Beverages, was shown on “Big Hoss,” the largest single LED screen of any sports facility in North America. Complimentary hot cocoa, Christmas cookies and popcorn were provided to the guests by Levy Restaurants.
During the annual event, Speedway Children’s Charities also handed out the Caring Heart Award, which honors an employee who goes above and beyond to support its mission. This year’s recipient was Kayla Ochocki, the director of guest services at TMS.
Since 1997, the organization has distributed more than $12.6 million supporting local children in need. SCC-Texas raises money throughout the year through a variety of fundraising events ranging from its annual clay shoot and golf tournament to 50/50 raffles, charity track rides and much more.
