FORT WORTH, Texas (November 14, 2025) – Texas Motor Speedway will open the infield to the public on Wednesday, Dec. 3 for the Speedway Children’s Charities Grant Ceremony presented by Texas Regional Bank followed by fireworks and a free holiday-themed, drive-in movie night.
The evening centers around Speedway Children’s Charities Grant Ceremony presented by Texas Regional Bank, where the charitable arm of Texas Motor Speedway will distribute $249,672 to 37 non-profit organizations that serve over 10,000 children in Collin, Dallas, Denton and Tarrant counties. Prior to the start of the ceremony, children will have the opportunity to take their photo with Santa as he makes his way through the TMS infield. There also will be an opportunity for the kids to write a letter to Santa.
Following the ceremony, visitors will be treated to a stunning fireworks show provided by Ben E. Keith and a free drive-in style showing of the 2018 animated version of the classic, “The Grinch.” The holiday movie will be shown on “Big Hoss,” the largest single LED screen of any sports facility in North America. Complimentary hot cocoa, Christmas cookies and popcorn will be provided by Levy Restaurants.
The annual grant ceremony is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. with gates opening at 5:30 p.m. Attendees can enter the infield of “The Great American Speedway” by utilizing the South Tunnel on South Allison Avenue, which is off Texas State Highway 114 west of Roanoke.
In 2024, SCC Texas distributed $203,000 to 30 nonprofit organizations serving the critical needs of 36,500 children in the four DFW counties.
Since 1997, the organization has distributed more than $12.4 million supporting local children in need. SCC-Texas raises money throughout the year through a variety of fundraising events ranging from its annual clay shoot and golf tournament to 50/50 raffles, charity track rides and much more.
