FORT WORTH, Texas (March 18, 2026) – Dirt racing returns to Texas Motor Speedway Friday and Saturday night as the POWRi National and West Midget Leagues as well as the Factory Fourteen National Open Wheel 600 Series put the pedal to the metal at Lil’ Texas Motor Speedway.

The POWRi National and West Midget Leagues return to the Lone Star State for the first time since 2020, making their first-ever appearance at the one-fifth-mile Lil’ Texas Motor Speedway.

The action-packed weekend features drivers from more than 10 states, including six from Texas, in the National & West Midget League. Representing Texas in the series are Kyle Jones (Kennedale), Zane Lawrence (Lillian), Christian Miller (Hudson Oaks), Cooper Miller (Graham), Brecken Reese (Canyon) and Pierce Urbanosky (North Richland Hills). Jones enters the weekend leading the West Midget League with 590 points.

Friday night’s winner will collect a $3,000 payout while Saturday’s will take home $5,000.

The two-day event features five divisions and begins Friday night with hot laps at 6:30 p.m. Hot laps for Saturday’s finale is slated for 6 p.m. Gates open 30 minutes prior to the start of hot laps on both days. An open practice is scheduled for Thursday from 6-9 p.m.

General admission is $25 each night for adults, while kids tickets are $10. Pit passes are available each night for $45, while Thursday’s practice is only $30. Tickets can be purchased by clicking here.
