FORT WORTH, Texas (APRIL 1, 2024) – Speedway Children’s Charities-Texas Chapter will be playing host to a number of fund-raising events during the April 12-14 Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 NASCAR race week at Texas Motor Speedway.

The featured SCC-Texas event will be the annual Bill Walker Memorial Greens and Gears Golf Tournament presented by Premier Truck Group on Friday, April 12, that will lead into the NASCAR tripleheader weekend.

The tourney will be held at the beautiful Marriott Golf Resort at Champions Circle, which is directly across from Texas Motor Speedway on SR 114. The 18-hole, scramble format event will begin with an 8 a.m. CT shotgun start and followed by several fun activities on the course, silent auction and awards luncheon.

Visit Fort Worth has signed on as the Bogie Sponsor and NTT as the Eagle Sponsor.

Foursomes begin at $1,000 and there also are varying levels of sponsorship available to further assist SCC’s fund-raising efforts. They range from event title sponsorship to a hole sponsor. For more information, please contact SCC-Texas at [email protected].

Below are the other SCC-Texas activities taking place during the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 race week:

  • 50/50 Raffle – You can not only help SCC-Texas, but also help put yourself in position to take home a cash prize jackpot. The 50/50 Raffle raises funds for SCC-Texas with half the money collected going to the charity and the other half going to a lucky fan. SCC-Texas will be selling tickets (10 for $10, 40 for $20, 120 for $40, 300 for $100) at the different race events each day. There will be a 50/50 Raffle available Wednesday, April 10, and Thursday, April 11, during Micro Mania at Lil’ Texas Motor Speedway; Friday, April 12, for the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series SpeedyCash.com 250 at Texas Motor Speedway; Saturday, April 13, for the NASCAR Xfinity Series Andy’s Frozen Custard 300 at TMS and the High Limit Sprint Cars at the TMS Dirt Track; and Sunday, April 14, for the NASCAR Cup Series Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400. Branded raffle kiosks will be located on the concourse and mobile sellers in green 50/50 Raffle vests with signs will be walking the property, including the campgrounds. Also, keep an eye on Bigger Hoss TV on the backstretch for updates on the size of the pot along with the winning numbers.
  • SCC-Texas Live Auction – This auction of memorabilia and other racing-related items moves over to the Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track on Saturday, April 13. The auction, which will be held outside the front gate as part of the Thor Camper Party, will begin at approximately 5 p.m. following Trackside Live – Dirt Edition at the same location.
  • The Legacy Shop –This race weekend-only shop provides unique memorabilia items and pieces of Texas Motor Speedway history for purchase to benefit SCC-Texas. The Legacy Shop, located near Gate 3, is open from when the gates open to the conclusion of the on-track activities for all three race days (April 12-14).
