FORT WORTH, Texas (May 6, 2026) – In addition to enjoying a thrilling and action-packed NASCAR tripleheader weekend at Texas Motor Speedway, race fans made an impact on the lives of children across North Texas by helping raise more than $180,000 for Speedway Children’s Charities (SCC), the official charity of Speedway Motorsports.

Funds were raised through numerous events during the weekend, including:

  • Bill Walker Memorial Gears & Greens Golf Tournament presented by Premier Truck Group: The NASCAR tripleheader weekend kicked off with the annual charity golf tournament at the DFW Marriott Hotel & Golf Club at Champions Circle. The sold-out event featured a guest appearance from NASCAR Cup Series driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr. of Hyak Motorsports and more than 35 teams. In addition to Premier Truck Group, the charity golf tournament was supported by K&M Elevators and Fleetguard.
  • SCC Live Auction: Race fans scored once-in-a-lifetime experiences and memorabilia at the SCC-Texas Live Auction on the Cracker Barrel Stage in the Fan Zone.
  • 50/50 Raffle, presented by Frontline Fire Protection: Fans took their shot at winning big, while giving back to children in need with the SCC-Texas 50/50 Raffle presented by Frontline Fire Protection.
  • The Legacy Shop: One-of-a-kind souvenirs were up for grabs at The Legacy Shop at Texas Motor Speedway all weekend long.

“We’re incredibly grateful to our race fans and partners for their continued support of our mission,” said Speedway Children’s Charities Texas Chapter Executive Director Marissa Chaney. “It’s heartwarming to see such generosity, which will make a meaningful impact on the lives of children in need across North Texas.”

The funds raised throughout the NASCAR tripleheader weekend will be distributed in the form of grants to local organizations during the annual SCC-Texas Grant Ceremony on Dec. 2 at Texas Motor Speedway. Donations can be made any time at https://www.speedwaycharities.org/donate/.

SCC-Texas will continue its efforts to raise money for children in need in Collin, Dallas, Denton and Tarrant counties this summer through the following events:
