FORT WORTH, Texas (March 13, 2025) – Daniel Suárez, driver of the No. 99 Trackhouse Racing Chevrolet in the NASCAR Cup Series, was the focus of a full day of media and fan activities during a pit stop in DFW to promote the May 2-4 WÜRTH 400 presented by LIQUI MOLY NASCAR tripleheader weekend at Texas Motor Speedway.

The Monterrey, Mexico native’s victory at Sonoma Raceway in June 2022 made him the first Mexican-born driver to win in the NASCAR Cup Series. His latest victory, in February 2024 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, was a three-wide affair at the checkered flag where Suárez edged Ryan Blaney by a margin of just 0.003-of-a-second with Kyle Busch just inches behind Blaney for third.

After multiple stops at local media outlets and additional phone interviews, Suárez headed to the El Rancho Supermercado in Irving, Texas where he was greeted by a long line of his Daniel’s Amigos fanbase. While there, he signed autograph cards and memorabilia, decorated a race car-shaped cake to look like his No. 99 Chevrolet, marveled at the speed and efficiency of the tortilla-making machine, and conducted a few more interviews.

Before leaving to catch a flight west, the new U.S. citizen stopped at a checkout line to pay a family’s grocery bill.
