FORT WORTH, Texas (March 22, 2026) – Jacob Denney continued his hot start to the 2026 season with a weekend sweep of the National and West Midget Leagues races at the one-fifth-mile Lil’ Texas Motor Speedway.
Denney dominated the field in Friday and Saturday’s A Features, leading 59 of 60 laps en route to earning an $8,000 payday. With the sweep, the Galloway, Ohio, native has now captured the checkered flag in four consecutive races and increased his career win total to 13.
Gavin Miller recorded the fastest qualifying times on the weekend, posting a 12.604-second lap on Friday and a track-record 12.241-second mark on Saturday.
In the B Feature, Colton Robinson claimed the top spot on Friday, while Karter Sarff captured the checkered flag on Saturday night.
The two-day event featured five divisions and had more than 190 entries. The National and West Midget Leagues entry list featured drivers from more than 10 states, including 11 from Texas. Johnny Brown Jr. (Mauriceville), Jimmy Gardner (Denison), Weston Gorham (Colleyville), Kyle Jones (Kennedale), Zane Lawrence (Lillian), Caleb Padgett (Madisonville), Steven Padgett (Madisonville), Dylan Ramey (Fort Worth), Brecken Reese (Canyon), Colby Stubblefield (Seagoville) and Justin Zimmerman (Athens) represented Texas in the series.
