AAA Texas 500

FORT WORTH, Texas (March 21, 2019)

One of the longest running charity events in Texas Motor Speedway history continues March 28 with the 22nd annual Bill Walker Memorial Gears & Greens Golf Tournament presented by Premier Truck Group.

With a new location at Cowboys Golf Club in Grapevine, a welcome reception brought to you by Quorum International, awards throughout the day, and visits from 1310 The Ticket and All-Pro Guard Zack Martin, the round promises to entertain from the 1st hole through the last.

Competitors can look forward to a Swag Suite, giveaways while on the course, and a Hole-in-One competition offering a chance to drive a stock car on the Texas Motor Speedway 1.5-mile tri-oval with instruction by three-time Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Champion Tony Stewart.

The tournament kicks off with Registration, breakfast, and a trip through the Swag Suite at 7:00 a.m., a shotgun start at 8:00, and lunch and awards at the conclusion of play.

The Texas Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities has utilized this event to raise more than $750,000 for kids in Collin, Dallas, Denton, and Tarrant counties in North Texas, and it’s a traditional kickoff to the spring’s O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 NASCAR weekend.
