FORT WORTH, Texas (June 9, 2017) _ NASCAR Camping World Truck Series reigning series champion Johnny Sauter won Stage 1 of Friday night’s winstaronlinegaming.com 400 at Texas Motor Speedway.

Sauter, who qualified second in his No. 21 Allegiant Travel Chevrolet Silverado, earned his series-leading fourth stage win of the season and added 10 points to his series lead. Second in the stage was Christopher Bell in the No. 4 JBL Toyota Tundra followed by two-time series champion Matt Crafton in the No. 88 Hormel Gatherings/Menards Toyota.

Rookie Noah Gragson, who qualified on-pole earlier Friday and then celebrated his high school graduation in a special pre-race ceremony, finished eighth in the segment in the No. 18 Switch Toyota.

Sauter, of GMS Racing, began the night with a 52-point lead over Bell. Sauter has yet to finish outside the top-15 this season through six races and has led 169 laps. He owns an average finish of 4.2 this year.

There are 126 laps remaining around TMS’ repaved and re-profiled 1.5-mile oval.
