O’Reilly Auto Parts 500

FORT WORTH, Texas (November 7, 2015) – XFINITY Series pole qualifying for today’s O’Reilly Auto Parts Challenge has been cancelled due to damp track conditions and the race field will be set by Friday’s practice times.

I>n an effort to maintain the remainder of the day’s schedule that includes two upcoming Sprint Cup Series practices and then the running of the O’Reilly Auto Parts Challenge beginning at 2:30 p.m. CT, NASCAR scrapped the Service King Qualifying Days pole qualifying scheduled for 11:15 a.m. to continue the drying of the track with the Air Titans.

Once the track drying process has been completed, NASCAR then will start the first of two final Sprint Cup practices that would go until 12:40 p.m. The second practice would then go from 1-1:50 p.m. and be followed by the O’Reilly Auto Parts Challenge at its scheduled start time (2:30 p.m., TV: NBC, Radio: PRN, SiriusXM, KRLD-FM 105.3 The Fan).

With the field based off the times from Friday’s only practice session, Austin Dillon will start on the pole with Brad Keselowski starting alongside him. Erik Jones will start third, Regan Smith fourth and Daniel Suarez fifth.

XFINITY Series championship leader Chris Buescher, a native of nearby Prosper, will start 12th while Chase Elliott, second in the points and 27 behind Buescher, will start 10th.
