Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series

This modern-day Nostradamus, just two days before the green flag falls on the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series playoff-opener at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, put his cards on the table, unveiling who he believes will advance through each round of the playoffs

The Chase for Eight will have to wait for Jimmie Johnson, but storylines abound as 16 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series drivers enter the big dance this weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It’s a Royal Rumble that includes six champions, a single first-timer and everything in between.

Have you looked at the calendar lately? The summer’s flown by nearly as fast as 40 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series rides flying out of Turn 4 at Texas toward the start-finish line.

We all saw it, and we probably still are trying to decide if it’s true or not.

Justin Haley, the same one who’s a NASCAR Xfinity Series rookie and fresh off a trip to the championship finale in the Gander Trucks in 2018, is a Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race winner.

For the first time in 2019 Kyle Busch finished outside the Top-10 in a Cup Series race at Kansas. In fact, it was his first finish outside the Top-10 in any NASCAR race this year, a run of 19 straight (with 10 of those being wins). His last Cup start outside the Top-10 was actually a 17th place showing at Texas Motor Speedway last November.
