College was never this easy (and it might not have been this much fun)! Whether you are attending a race in Texas for the first time or back for more... You'll see this sport in a whole new way!
We understand that if you didn't grow up watching it, the sport of racing can be a whole new world. Everything from where to sit to "what exactly are they doing on pit road and why" can seem a mystery. Raceday Universitysm is the answer to those questions and more. A complete day at the track including a group of "professors" from the world of motorsports with only one goal, that you'll never graduate from our sport.

Marcus Smith - Chief Executive Officer, Speedway Motorsports Inc.
Marcus is the Chief Executive Officer and President of Speedway Motorsports Inc. Smith also serves as President and General Manager of Charlotte Motor Speedway. Marcus joined Speedway Motorsports Inc. in 1996 as a sales associate at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Richard Petty - Driver, NASCAR Hall of Fame
Very rarely in sports do you find the all-time greatest competitor double as the all-time greatest ambassador. But that's exactly what you get with Richard "The King" Petty. The mountains of records he holds including: Most wins (200), most poles (123), tied for most championships (seven), most wins in a season (27), most Daytona 500 wins (seven), most consecutive wins (10) and most starts (1,185) is one thing. But what Petty brought to NASCAR off the track during and after his career cannot be measured.
Boone Stutz - Pit crew member for Danica Patrick, former Texas A&M University football player.
He attended his first Sprint Cup race at Texas Motor Speedway in 2001 where he watched Dale Earnhardt Jr. win from a spot in the infield in Turn 4. He was hooked on the sport from then on, going to World of Outlaws races and IndyCar Series events. But he was also still playing football as he was a team captain, long snapper and tight end for two seasons for the Aggies before graduating in 2005. He spent the next two years in the NFL before resuming what he thought would be his life after sports. Now, Stutz is a member of the pit crew for Stewart-Haas Racing driver, Danica Patrick.
