You know, this is probably the only race I've been to where it didn't bother me that my driver had a bad race. My buddy didn't have it any better with Tony having troubles right from the start. But, it was just such an awesome spectacle that it really didn't matter. We were surrounded by fun people (well, one was an idiot but he disappeared

Oh yeah, we are already planning a return trip!! We had tons of fun. Weather was iffy during the day with a mix of rain sun. Race night weather (with the exception of the sprinkles that caused Satruday's short rain delay) was great. Here are some pics from our adventure: We brought along our bikes and hit Deals Gap on the way home:

Well, all our camping gear is packed up and ready. Motorcycles are prepped and ready to be loaded up. We went and bought all of our food. WE ARE READY!! Hopefully the current forecast changes to something a little more favorable (couple of days forecast to have 40% or chances of rain). Good thing is that these are night races and that sort of weather

With your wonderful help I have a spiffy aluminum replacement piece cut and ready to install when I get home!

Should be about 5 inches or less if you wrap the tape AROUND IT. if you hold the tape flat against the bottom it measure 1 1/2" right?
-
If you have the flagpole in your hand, I need the meausrement of the part that you slide INTO the base. The measurment between the two RED arrows! Thanks!! Should be the "fattest" part of the flag pole.
-
The same flat measurement you gave me earlier, but on the fattest part of the flagpole. Should be smaller than 2" since it has to slide in there.
-
I got mine off of e-bay with the Gordon flagpole and flag. I'll be replacing the shaft with either steel or aluminum. You wouldn't happen to have the "flat" measurement of the fattest part of the actual flagpole?
-
Excellent! That is exactly what I needed!! Thank you!

Yes the outside "roundness"! THanks again!
