NRA 500 Weekend

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. (No. 6 Pure Michigan Ford) earned his first Nationwide Series victory at Texas Motor Speedway, and his second of the season when he won the O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 in 2012. After a caution came out on lap 189 for oil on the track, Stenhouse Jr. held off a charge from Denny Hamlin on the final restart and brought home the win.

Back under the Saturday night lights at Texas Motor Speedway in 2012, it was a battle between two of the toughest veterans in the sport, Greg Biffle (No. 16 3M/Filtrete Ford) and Jimmie Johnson (No. 48 Lowe's/Kobalt Tools Chevrolet). Biffle came from behind to pass Johnson on lap 304 and would not lose the lead again en route to winning the Samsung Mobile 500, his first win at “The Great American Speedway!”™ since 2005.
