Firestone 550 Weekend

Johnny Sauter (No. 13 Hot Honeys/Curb Records Toyota) picked up his first victory at Texas Motor Speedway in the 2012 WinStar World Casino 400. Sauter took the lead from Matt Crafton on lap 145 after the final restart of the race and never looked back. With the win Sauter became the second truck series driver to start 20th or worse and still get the victory at Texas Motor Speedway.

In 2012 Justin Wilson (No. 18 Sonny's BBQ Honda) notched his first win at “The Great American Speedway!”™ in dramatic fashion. With two laps to go leader Graham Rahal made a crucial mistake, sending his car up the banking and scraping the turn four wall, giving Wilson room to swoop in and take the lead. Wilson pulled away in the final two laps and went on to win the Firestone 550, proving Texas Motor Speedway truly is a Wild Asphalt Circus.
