One lucky fan will get the opportunity to win a spot alongside Jeff Gordon for his final parade lap at Texas Motor Speedway during Speedway Children’s Charities “No Limits” Experience Live Auction on Saturday, Nov. 7. The opportunity to celebrate Gordon’s final race at Texas Motor Speedway highlights a long list of memorabilia and experiences up for bidding during the auction held in the Village of Champions approximately 30 minutes after the O’Reilly Auto Parts Challenge. Other items up for bid include a private duck hunt with Duck Commander members from the popular TV reality show Duck Dynasty, a meet-and-greet with Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Famer Sammy Hagar, parade lap rides with Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick, Denny Hamlin and more. Six-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson and Texas Motor Speedway have partnered on a youth-oriented “Growing Up NASCAR” ticket package for the AAA Texas 500 Sprint Cup Series race on Sunday, Nov. 8. For $89, the package includes grandstand tickets for an adult and child (12 and under) and a Q&A session with Johnson on the track between Turns 3 and 4 at 10:15 a.m. CT. An additional benefit of the package includes NASA instructors assisting the kids with special NASA-themed projects as part of its Rockets 2 Racecars program at 9:15 a.m. prior to the Q&A session. In recognition of four-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Jeff Gordon’s final appearance in the Lone Star State, Texas Motor Speedway and The Ticket (KTCK 1310 AM) are teaming up to offer one lucky listener the chance to win as much as $24,000 in conjunction with the AAA Texas 500. Beginning Monday through Tuesday, Nov. 3, listeners will get their cue to call to win tickets to RaceDay University held prior to the AAA Texas 500 on Sunday, Nov. 8. The 24 semi-finalists will then be entered into a random drawing, where one listener will get the chance to earn $24,000 as they select the name of one of the 43 drivers competing in the AAA Texas 500. If the selected driver wins the race, they will receive $24,000. Should the selected driver finish second, they will earn $12,000 and $5,000 if the driver finishes third.
