Friday Night Drags continued on its season-record pace with another 200-plus competitors and more than 4,000 in attendance for this past Friday’s action where weekly winners were crowned in all seven divisions.

Texas Motor Speedway’s Friday Night Drags rapidly is becoming the hottest alternative to traditional summer activities in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex as the nine-year-old program is on a record pace through the first two weeks of the six-week racing series available to the general public.

Texas Motor Speedway's award-winning Speeding To Read educational program is now open to Dallas/Fort Worth elementary schools for enrollment in the 2017-18 school year competition.
