Defending NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Kevin Harvick is looking to snap a 25-race winless streak at Texas Motor Speedway in Sunday’s AAA Texas 500. Texas remains the only track of the three races remaining in the season (Phoenix and Homestead-Miami are the others) that Harvick has not conquered.
Sending a clear message that it will not tolerate any actions that alter the outcome of playoff races, NASCAR has suspended Matt Kenseth for two races, which includes Sunday’s AAA Texas 500 at Texas Motor Speedway.
NASCAR XFINITY Series driver Chris Buescher has described himself as a little quiet and one that likes to go a little under the radar. Those descriptions might be changing in the coming weeks.

Gordon’s final Sprint Cup Series season will have him vying for the fifth series championship of his illustrious career. Gordon edged Jamie McMurray by .335 of a second to win Sunday’s Goody’s Headache Relief Shot 500 and securing one of the four berths to vie for the series championship Nov. 22 at Homestead-Miami Speedway by virtue of the triumph.
