FORT WORTH, Texas (December 1, 2016) - Kyle Busch opened the 2016 season at Texas Motor Speedway by sweeping the Duck Commander 500 NASCAR doubleheader weekend, Graham Rahal followed with a redeeming Firestone 600 INDYCAR win in the speedway's closest-ever race and it culminated with Carl Edwards' AAA Texas 500 victory for an automatic berth in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup's Championship 4 finale.
FORT WORTH, Texas (November 29, 2016) – Everyone knows everything is bigger in Texas and Texas Motor Speedway proved that once again with its annual lighting of “The Largest Living Christmas Tree in Texas” on Tuesday evening during the Speedway Children's Charities-Texas Chapter grant ceremony.
FORT WORTH, Texas (November 23, 2016) - Texas Motor Speedway will host one last race before closing the 2016 season with runners from across the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex participating in the Speedway Candy Cane Classic Holiday 5k and Reindeer Dash on Saturday, Dec. 17.
Texas Motor Speedway once again becomes the home of one of the largest holiday light displays in the state as the world-renowned motorsports facility opens its gates for the "Gift of Lights" drive-through holiday lighting spectacular.

In a stacked Championship 4 field that includes the likes of accomplished drivers Jimmie Johnson, Kyle Busch and Carl Edwards, Joey Logano might not be considered the favorite in very many circles.
