FORT WORTH, Texas (April 6, 2014) - The Duck Commander 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race has been postponed due to inclement weather and has been rescheduled for Monday with an 11 a.m. CT start.
Gates, suites, Victory Lane Club as well as the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series garage will open at 9 a.m. There will be no pre-race activities, including driver introductions, prior to the start of the race.
Fans with Sunday Duck Commander tickets will use the same ticket for admission to Monday's event. Others interested in attending Monday's rescheduled Duck Commander can purchase tickets at Gate 4 beginning at 9 a.m. CT.
The Duck Commander 500 will be broadcast live on FOX as well as PRN radio beginning at 11 a.m. CT.
This will be just the third time in Texas Motor Speedway's 18-year history that the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race will be run on Monday due to inclement weather. The first time was April 8, 2002, won by Matt Kenseth, and the most recent came April 19, 2010 when both the Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series races were run on the same day. Denny Hamlin won the Sprint Cup race while Kyle Busch won the Nationwide event.
