I am a die hard racing fan. I also like various other sports but racing and football are the main 2.
I was a Dale Earnhardt fan all the way back in the day. I cheered for no other. When he passed away, I didn't know really who to cheer for other than Dale JR and Kevin Harvick. In the 2002 year, I really started to come to a liking to Tony Stewart. I loved his way of driving. It reminded me of the man himself. I found myself pulling for 3 teams. Joe Gibbs Racing, RCR, and Dale Earnhardt Inc.
I have always been against the "Super Team" ever since Jeffie Jordon started winning there. Being a die hard 3 fan, I found it impossible to root for the rainbow warrior.
When Dale Jr announced that he was leaving DEI, I thought for sure he would sign with RCR. Only a given right? WRONG. He went to the "Super Team" for money and a possibility to win championships and races. Thats when I saw Dale Jr as a sellout and refuse to pull for him as long as he is with Hendrick. I will always dig him as a person and all the rest of the Earnhardt family. Just not a fan of Jr going to Hendrick.
When I kicked Jr off my top 5, I had an opening.
I never did like Kyle Busch, because he was Kurt's younger brother. Plus he was easy to make fun of. But when he was kicked out of Hendrick because of Dale Jr, I started campaigning for him to go to Gibbs. Gibbs had a open spot in the 18 and it made sense for him to go to Gibbs and be Stewart's teammate. In 2007, Gibbs announced that they were signing Kyle and also moving to Toyota. I was not a fan of the Toyota move, but I am a die hard Stewart fan, it didn't matter that much to me. When Kyle started dominating NASCAR and Dale Jr was slumping in his new ride, I came to be a Kyle fan.
Since then, Tony bought into Haas/CNC motorsports renaming it Stewart-Haas Racing. Tony has done very well and I feel that he has a championship or two coming to him. I am still a fan of Gibbs and RCR. But whats left of DEI, I cannot really get into.
These are my top 5 drivers.
1. Tony Stewart
2. Kyle Busch
3. Kevin Harvick
4. Ryan Newman
5. Joey Logano
Denny Hamlin ranks up there too.

I am a family man. I have a wife of over 10 years. I have 2 girls. 10 and 4.
I am into my Faith, radios, fishing, camping, and anything else outdoors.
You will find that I am very opinionated in what I believe. I love to talk racing. The way that I talk to people on here is the same way that I talk to people to their face(or on the radio).
I have myspace but I have grown disinterested in it. But you can find me on facebook. Just search KE5WDP or Ike Stephens.
I hope to talk to everybody in person coming up this November.
