Forgive me if this has been answered elsewhere. I purchased some VIP pit passes for the Dickies weekend.
I am a little confused about when I can and cannot be in the pits. On the schedule, it shows certain times as "Hot Pass in Effect". Does this mean everyone out of the pits at this time? I noticed on Saturday that the Hot pass in effect starts at 8:15 am. Would be a bummer if we had to be out the pits that early.

Hot Passes reference when the Garage and Pit Areas are under a different credential. To access specific areas when it is 'hot,' you have to have a Hot Pass which is distributed by NASCAR. Your VIP Pit Pass allows you in the pit area during non-hot times.
