So I got tickets for me and the wife for all three races sitting in great seats, and ordered out pit passes this morning. What I'm wondering, as I am a disabled vet, how is handicap parking? Also, what should I know about having the pit passes, like where I need to pick them up and etc. .. I'm looking forward to three great races, this isn't my first NASCAR race, growing up in Virginia I used to go to Richmond and Martinsville all the time, and have been to the Daytona 500, went the year Jr. won. My wife however has never been to a NASCAR race, well she's been to a Camping World series west race in Kyle, but that's it. Also, I saw that Ryan Newman will be signing autographs tomorrow night, does anyone know if I will have to get a ticket to be able to meet him or what. I'm not really too interested in the autograph part as I already have some stuff signed by him, the reason I want to meet him is I have an "Infidel"ACU tab that was on my uniform when I was injured in Iraq that I want to give to him.

What are the rules and regulations for the pit area?

All individuals in the pit area must be at least 18 years of age or older. The dress code is long pants only, no shorts. No sleeveless shirts, halter tops, bikini tops or swimsuits are allowed. No open-toe shoes or clothing with vulgar language is allowed. There is no admittance in the pit area if the dress code is not followed. For more information, please call 817-215-8500.

What facilities are available for handicap parking?

Handicap Parking spaces exist on the front rows of the Express Lot, Crystal Lot Speedway Club, VIP/PSL Lot and the backstretch Dirt Track parking lot. These spaces, like most public parking areas, are for Handicap Individuals ONLY and are available on a first-come, first servedbasis.

Access to these areas requires a Certified Handicap Placard that is displayed prominently on the vehicle for inspection, and must be assigned to one of the occupants of the vehicle being parked.

Vehicles desiring access to the Express Lot, Crystal Lot and Speedway Club Handicap parking spaces must have the appropriate credential for entry into these areas. VIP/PSL and Dirt Track parking areas will accommodate general Handicap Parking needs when lots have been opened for public access.

Once all marked spaces have been filled, Handicap Patrons will be allowed to park anywhere within the VIP/PSL parking area in space available. Police personnel assigned to monitor marked Handicap parking areas will be issuing City Citations to those found in violation.

For more information, contact the Ticket Office at 817-215-8500 for more information.

I just got back from the track from truck qualifying...All that Camp Flamingo gave you is correct.  The earlier you get to the track, the better parking space you will get.  Each gate has a fenced in lot for vip/psl parking and right up front is the handicap rows.  Once they are filled, they will let you park in the fenced area.  It usually never gets completely full until sunday.  You go to the small white building across from the main ticket office at the entrance to the speedway for your pit passes.  If you have a hang tag, bring it as you also have to have your ticket for each day with your pit pass to enter the pits.  Texas is a great place to see a race and there are thousands of people there all weekend.  Also outside the front gates are all the merchandise haulers.  Make sure you take the time to visit them.  Friday is the best day for that as on Sat and Sun. the lines are a mile long with people buying last minute things...The speed stage is located around gate 3 and we have meet and greets for TMS Nation Friday at noon, Sat at 11:00 am.  We are also meeting at 5:30pm after the Nationwide race at the legends track which is behind turn 3 for a free short track race.  Have a great weekend and hope you can meet us....Automobile

Yeah I heard about the get there early part from the TMS rep who I bought my tickets from but they were not specific at all on handicap parking. I still have the unanswered question of where I get my pit passes. The TMS rep said I can pick them up at will call, but I'm also hearing I have to pick them up somewhere else, hopefully I can get an answer soon cause I'm about to start the long drive from San Antonio. I will definitely see you guys I'm sure at the Legends Track.

You can go to the creditials office that is right  behind the ticket office. When you see the lake with the three cars in it,look directly behind it and you will see the ticket office.

Just to clarify, you will have to first pick up your VIP Pit Pass voucher at Will Call.  Then you can exchange this voucher for the actual credential at the Credentials Office located behind the lake.
