StoneyTy:

okay, have a question about parking,  do you have to park in a cetain section depending on where your seats are? like our tickets for the truck race and nation wide race are in sections 119 and 123, and our section for the sprint cup is 437, i was looking at the fan guide and i think it shows we park in diff spots, depending on our seat sections, is that right?

sean and shannon

No you can park most anywhere you want. You do have to have a VIP parking pass to park on the pavement but you can park anywhere on the dirt lots

Be who you are and say what you feel, Because those that matter don't mind and those that mind don't matter

Guest Services

Nationwide Fan Pit Stops

Two pit stop tents are located at Gates 2 and 6. They provide a rest area with tables and chairs for fans to stop, take a break and get information about the speedway from volunteers. Pit Stops are staffed Thursday through Sunday of race weekends.

Nationwide Information Stations

Two race information stations are located at Gates 3 and 5 on the Midway. These stations are staffed Friday through Sunday of race weekends and provide speedway information for all guests.

Nationwide Fan Assistance Transportation

Multiple Nationwide golf carts provide fans a ride anywhere on speedway property throughout each race weekend. The carts are marked with blue canopies and have the Nationwide On Your Side logos. This is a FREE ride, just wave one down or stand under a Nationwide flag located at each gate entrance.

TxARM and Religious Services

The Texas Alliance Raceway Ministries (TxARM) tent is located in the Lone Star Circle Camping area- outside Turn 3 near Gate 11. Visit www.txarm.org for more information about TxARM.

Information Table - TxArm offers volunteers each race weekend to help those who need assistance in locating entry gates, showers, rest rooms, concession areas, merchandise locations, local gas stations, hardware & grocery stores and more.

Professional Counselors/Chaplains - Licensed counselors, chaplains and pastors available for crisis intervention, domestic disturbance, depression, etc. Available to all fans through direct contract or through Speedway Security.

We are definately yellow stripers. So, we do have pit passes (woohoo!). Do we need to trade those in somewhere for some kind of tag or just carry the tickets around with us? Thanks for all the other good info you guys have shared in here.

not sure what pit passes u have, but on the back of mine, if u use a telescope lol it tells us to take ours to the credentails office. and have I.D. with you and u have to be 18. if u look at the parking lot map in the fan guide u can find the credentails office, it looks like it's in turn 2 out by the little race track, but i'm a rookie to the race track myself, so not sure what kinda pit passes u have, i bet someone will tell u more info

Yes - with all pit passes - you take what you have to the Credential's office (by the main ticket office).

You must have your ID with you - you have to sign a waiver of liability before you will get your actual pit passes.

LOL, i'm such a rookie i didn't even realize there are different kinds of public pit passes. Hope we got the good ones. We got pit and pre-race concert tickets. we figured, if you are going, GO BIG. Thank you for all your reponses. Sorry if there is a weird post from me before this one, my computer went nuts.  Tom Murphy, LOVE your picture. Biggest laugh of the day right there.

Sean, just to make it easier to identify...the credential office is close to the pond out front.  It has a burgundy/maroon colored roof.

Good luck in your travels this weekend.  You will have a total blast.  I tell my husband...this is like Disney World for adults (race fans).  It is enjoyable to me to watch you be so excited about it all!  You will not be disappointed!
