Michael McDowell

Michael McDowell, driver of the No. 98 K-LOVE/Curb Records Ford for Phil Parsons Racing, may best be remembered for his remarkable crash during qualifying at Texas Motor Speedway in April 2008. McDowell’s right front sway bar broke entering Turn 1, sending his car into the wall and then barrel-rolling eight times. He was able to walk away without any injuries thanks in large part to the SAFER barrier wall.

I’m really excited about having HOOVEY on my car this week at Texas ... It’s such an amazing and inspiring story. I think it will really resonate with NASCAR fans. EchoLight Studios has produced some great films and HOOVEY will be no different.

Ambient Edge and all of our customers are super-excited about our sponsorship of Michael McDowell’s car this weekend in Las Vegas ... We’re a small, local company, so we’re very happy to have this opportunity to participate in an event such as this. We’re looking forward to the race and can’t wait to see our car racing against the best in motorsports.
