Marcos Ambrose

Marcos Ambrose, a former three-time Australian V8 Supercar champion, enters his fifth full NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season and third with Richard Petty Motorsports as the driver of the No. 9 Stanley Ford. He had a strong 2012 season with RPM as he recorded his second career NSCS win at Watkins Glen and finished 18th in the series points standings. In 2011 he established season highs for top-five finishes (5) and top 10s (12). Ambrose, who hails from Tasmania, broke into the series in 2008, running a total of 11 races for three different organizations (Wood Brothers, Michael Waltrip Racing and JTG Daugherty Racing).
