Juan Pablo Montoya, driver of the No. 42 Target Chevrolet for Earnhardt Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates, enters his seventh season in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series after making the jump from Formula One. He became the first Formula One driver to compete full-time in NASCAR when he made the move in 2007. Montoya’s racing resume includes seven Formula One victories, victory in the 2000 Indianapolis 500 and a series championship as a rookie in the Champ Car World Series championship in 1999. He has excelled on the road courses with his only two career Sprint Cup Series wins entering the 2013 season coming at Sonoma (2007) and Watkins Glen (’10).
