Jamie McMurray enters his 12th season driving the No. 1 McDonald’s/Cessna Chevrolet for Earnhardt Ganassi Racing. McMurray made a big splash during his first season with then Ganassi Racing as he filled the seat for injured driver Sterling Marlin in 2002. He won his first Sprint Cup Series race in just his second start at Charlotte in October by holding off Bobby Labonte on the last lap. The following year McMurray went on to win rookie-of-the-year honors. In 2010 McMurray had a season to remember as he became just the third driver to win the Daytona 500 and Brickyard 400 in the same season. Entering the 2013 season, McMurray has tallied just six career wins and has yet to qualify for the Chase for the Sprint Cup in his career. His best finish came in 2004 when he ended the season 11th in the standings.
