Bobby Labonte

Bobby Labonte is the 2000 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion and partnered with two-time series champ Terry Labonte to become the only brothers in NASCAR’s premier series to both win the title. The 2013 season marks his 21st full season in NASCAR Sprint Cup Series competition and he returns in the No. 47 Kingsford/Clorox/Bush’s Beans Toyota for JTG Daugherty Racing. He has earned 21 career victories – including a run of nine consecutive years with at least one win – and 26 poles during that time. He has finished among the top-10 in the Sprint Cup Series championship seven times, including the title in 2000 and runner-up in 1999. Labonte also won a NASCAR Nationwide Series championship in 1991.

One of the greatest things about racing at Charlotte Motor Speedway is that you are able to have some time at home for a couple weeks and sleep in your own bed ... I’ve always enjoyed racing there and for us drivers it’s a prestigious race. You want to win in your backyard in front of a hometown crowd.
