Elliott Sadler

Elliott Sadler is in 16th season in the NASCAR Nationwide Series but third competing full-time. Elliot races for Joe Gibbs Racing, driving the No. 11 OneMain Financial Toyota. Sadler finished a career-best second-place in last year’s standings, finishing behind Ricky Stenhouse Jr. in the championship. Sadler made the jump back to the Nationwide Series following 12 seasons competing full-time in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Sadler is one of 27 drivers to have at least one win and one pole in all three of NASCAR’s national series.

I was pushing it, trying to keep up with the 54 (Busch) ... I wanted to get up there and try to lead some laps and just went in there too hard and got loose and had to make a decision whether to spin out or try to correct it, and I overcorrected and spun out. Lady Luck helped me from not hitting anything.
