Josef Newgarden, the 2011 Firestone Indy Lights champion, made the jump to the IZOD IndyCar Series in 2012. In 2013 Josef will be driving the No. 67 Klipsch Honda entry for Sarah Fisher Hartman Racing. The Tennessee native caught everyone’s attention with a dominating Indy Lights season in 2011. Driving for Sam Schmidt Motorsports, he recorded five wins and 10 podium finishes overall in 14 races en route to the Indy Lights crown. Newgarden also became the first American to win the International Formula Ford Festival (Kent Class) in 2008 and finished runner-up in the British Formula Ford Championship in ‘09.
