Jakes is competing in his third season in the IZOD IndyCar Series and came into 2013 in search of his first victory. The Leeds, England native notched his first two wins as a professional driver on the Formula 3 Euro Series in 2007 and ‘08.

Obviously I am very excited to be going back to Indy with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing ... I think we can roll off the trailer pretty strong. Hopefully the weather will be good for the month. It looks a bit mixed right now. The team has nearly won it two years in a row now. They were there fighting for it in the last 10 laps so its exciting to be part of RLL heading to Indianapolis.
