James Hinchcliffe

James Hinchcliffe enters the 2013 season driving the No. 27 Team GoDaddy.com Chevrolet for Andretti Autosport. It will be Hinchcliffe’s third season in the IZOD IndyCar Series, his rookie campaign coming with Newman/Haas Racing where he finished 12th in the series championship. The Canadian is a product of the Firestone Indy Lights Series, where he spent two seasons (2009-10). He recorded three wins in that series and finished fifth in the championship in ’09 and runner-up in ’10.

Race day was hot last year, and today was certainly hot and interesting at times depending on where you caught gusts of wind. I wouldn't read too much into the times right now, though; I got a lovely tow from my friends at Andretti. I was the fourth car in line after Marco [Andretti], [James Hinchcliffe] and Ryan [Hunter-Reay] which helped us to put up the speed we did.
