E.J. Viso

E.J. Viso enters his sixth season in the IZOD IndyCar Series but his first with Andretti Autosport as the driver of the No. 5 CITGO/PDVSA Chevrolet. The Venezuelan has finished 18th in the series championship three of his five years, the other finish being a career-best 17th in 2010. After spending several years racing in various series throughout Europe and a stint as a Formula One test driver, Viso made his IZOD IndyCar Series debut in 2008 with HVM Racing.

I think the car we have evolved from the team from last year has been really heading in the right direction ... We have been testing a number of pieces in the car and I think we have a stronger car than what we began with. It's all about finding as much mechanical grip as possible and then when it comes time to trim it you should be in a good position if you did your homework.
