Takuma Sato

Takuma Sato will be the only Japanese driver competing fulltime in the IZOD IndyCar Series in 2013, driving the No. 14 ABC Supply Co. Honda entry for A.J. Foyt Enterprises. It will be his first year with the organization after spending three IZOD IndyCar Series seasons with KV Racing Technology and Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing. He is coming off a season where he finished 14th in the series championship on the strength on his five top-10 finishes. Sato arrived at the IZOD IndyCar Series with an open-wheel pedigree, having run five seasons (2004-08) in Formula One. He competed one season with Lucky Strike BAR Honda and then moved to Super Aguri F1 Team for his final three seasons.
