FORT WORTH, Texas (Dec. 12, 2012) – The shopping days are dwindling to find the perfect holiday gift for the avid motorsports fan on your list and Texas Motor Speedway is the only place for one-stop shopping.
The Speedway World Gift Shop, located inside Texas Motor Speedway’s ticket office, offers the newest line of “No Limits” Wild Asphalt Circus apparel. Shoppers can find Wild Asphalt Circus hats, t-shirts and garage signs priced at $20, along with hoodies and jackets for men and women ($40-$45). Need something with a little pop, then the “No Limits” glow in the dark shirt ($15 for kids, $20 for adults) that includes Texas Motor Speedway’s signature “No Limits” logo with graffiti paint might be the right fit.
For old-school NASCAR fans, there are vintage 1/24-scale, die-cast cars autographed by some of the sport’s most legendary drivers. Die-casts of David Pearson’s No. 17 1969 Holman Moody Torino Talladega ($89.95), Cale Yarborough’s No. 21 1968 Mercury Cyclone ($99) and LeeRoy Yarborough’s No. 98 1969 Mercury Cyclone are available. If you are looking for something with a little “bling,” a 1/24-scale, gold-plated die-cast ($150) of 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Brad Keselowski, Dale Earnhardt Jr., five-time series champion Jimmie Johnson, three-time series champ Tony Stewart, four-time series champ Jeff Gordon, Carl Edwards or Kevin Harvick would be the perfect gift. The highly sought-after Action Racing Collectibles die-casts are part of a limited edition collection as only 25 of each car were produced.
Speedway World’s most “off-the-wall” gift is actually hung on the wall with NASCAR Wallhaulers. The Wallhauler ($250) is a full-sized replica race car door that includes the recognizable paint scheme and number of NASCAR’s biggest stars. Fans can pick from 24 different drivers both past and present, ranging from Johnson and Stewart to Dale Earnhardt and Richard Petty.
Fans also can purchase the latest Keselowski NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championship merchandise that includes a championship flag ($38), sweatshirt ($50), travel mug ($8) and koozie ($5).
If you want something a little more “Wild,” Texas Motor Speedway’s ticket office has deals for two exciting races under the lights – April’s Texas 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race and June’s Firestone 550 IZOD IndyCar Series race.
The Texas 500, set for Saturday, April 13, marks the first prime-time event on the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series schedule. Fans can take advantage of the popular “Backstretch Buster” seats at $20 or $40 or the “2 for $99” frontstretch ticket package.
The IZOD IndyCar Series returns for its most anticipated race on the schedule – the Firestone 550 – on Saturday, June 8. Tabbed as “America’s Original Nighttime IndyCar Race,” the Firestone 550 has provided thrilling finishes for 16 years and fans can catch all the excitement with frontstretch tickets starting as low as $35.
If one gift isn’t enough, give the gift that gives all year long with a 2013 season-ticket package that includes 10 days of exciting racing starting as low as $270. Season-ticket packages also provide exclusive incentives that include discounts on concession items, merchandise, pit passes and parking, along with access to the “No Limits” Garage Party presented by WinStar World Casino held prior to the Sprint Cup Series races in April and November.
For a more upscale race experience, current or future Speedway Club members can purchase the exclusive, behind-the-scenes Speedway Club Experience Package for April’s Texas 500 weekend for $1,500 per person.
