After success with previous light parks across the country, 3Dudes Productions and Winterland, Inc. have teamed together to create an extraordinary light display and family-fun event. The two companies were eager to join forces to bring a new Christmas event to the Dallas Fort-Worth area, hoping not only to entertain families this Christmas season, but also to create long-lasting memories and brand new traditions that families will enjoy for years to come.
David Fred, owner of Winterland, the Indiana-based company responsible for installing the lights, is pleased to provide such festive, affordable entertainment to families during the holidays.
“Light shows are the lowest-cost family entertainment available,” says Fred. “And it is entertainment.” He describes Winterland as “a happy business.”
“We deal with people who want to decorate,” he says. “Holiday decorations are ‘a want,’ not ‘a need.’ People are excited. It’s fun; it’s festive. Our customers are enthusiastic and upbeat.”
Gift of Lights at Texas Motor Speedway is a new Christmas tradition and a leading festive destination for families to celebrate the spirit of the holiday season. The park will be open November 23 through January 1, including Christmas Day.
