FORT WORTH, Texas (April 6, 2011) – Tailgater Monthly Pit Stop Park, Texas Motor Speedway’s newest fan amenity, was unveiled today as fans were given a sneak peek at the one of the most distinctive track features in all of motorsports.
Special guests Miss Sprint Cup Paige Duke and Becky of “The Great American Sweethearts!” joined Speedway Motorsports, Inc. Chairman and CEO Bruton Smith, Texas Motor Speedway President Eddie Gossage and Tailgater Monthly Executive Vice President of Sales and Business Development Randy Dye in welcoming fans to explore the newest addition to “The Great American Speedway!” at the Tailgater Monthly Pit Stop Park Open House And Tailgate Party.
Fans lined the entrance to Tailgater Monthly Pit Stop Park as a “No Limits” parade, which included the official pace car for Friday’s O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 and the “No Limits” Rat Rod led by grand marshals Gossage and Dye, arrived to kick off the event.
“Tailgater Monthly Pit Stop Park is a ‘No Limits’ tailgating facility and we are proud to introduce it to our fans today,” Gossage said. “Texas Motor Speedway fans are the best in NASCAR and we are thrilled to provide them with another premier amenity to enjoy.”
Tailgater Monthly’s Ultimate Tailgate School Bus, which includes built in grills, flat screen TVs, stereos and a beer tap, was on hand for the party, along with a variety of the latest must-have tailgating gadgets which were on display throughout Tailgater Monthly Pit Stop Park. Fans received a free Go Plate courtesy of Tailgater Monthly and were treated to some of the finest tailgating fare in Texas courtesy of Brookshire’s and prepared by the Tailgater Monthly grill masters. Six lucky fans won tickets to Friday’s O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 and Saturday’s Samsung Mobile 500.
Tailgater Monthly Pit Stop Park is the ultimate in tailgating luxury. Located conveniently outside Texas Motor Speedway’s main entrance (Gate 4,) Tailgater Monthly Pit Stop Park features 76 reserved tailgating spots, each space a spacious 36 feet deep by 15 feet wide.
