FORT WORTH, Texas (August 19, 2010) - The excitement of Legends racing concludes this week with the final two races of Lone Star Legends’ Summer Stampede at Texas Motor Speedway on Thursday and Friday followed by Saturday’s Bandolero Nationals.
Summer Stampede will wrap up its 10-race summer series beginning Thursday followed by the season finale on Friday. Champions in six divisions will be crowned including Bando Bandits (ages 8-11), Outlaws (12 and up), Legend Young Lions (12-16), Legends Semi-Pro (17-39), Legends Masters (40 and older) and Legends Pro (Legends drivers with the most experience).
The weekend concludes with Bandolero drivers from all across the country converging on Texas Motor Speedway for the Bandolero Nationals on Saturday. More than 50 drivers from coast to coast will compete for the 2010 national championship of the two Bandolero divisions – Bando Bandits and Bando Outlaws.
Fans can watch the future stars of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series as Gates open at 6 p.m. CT followed by racing at 7 p.m. for all three nights.
