Last Friday night was jam packed with cool, fun entertainment as fans gathered to partake in this season’s Friday Night Drags presented by SCION. The second week of the annual six-week event provided lots of excitement, including activities in the infield prior to the start of the drag racing. Activities included break dancing, a local rapper, booths with games and prizes, and, of course, the highly anticipated Show-n-Shine!
Each Friday night through Aug. 12, you can show off your vehicles at the Show-n-Shine car show for only $20 prior to the live drag racing competition! Bring your pride and joy and hang out in the infield of Texas Motor Speedway. Weekly winners are recognized in the following divisions: “Best of Show,” “Best Classic” (1972 or prior year), “Best Current Custom” (1973 to current), “Best Scion” and “Best Motorcycle.” Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, it does. All Show-n-Shine participants get to take a parade lap around “The Great American Speedway!”
