Texas Motor Speedway will be playing host to a special public event saluting the champion of Sunday’s Indianapolis 500 and a military hero live from Kandahar, Afghanistan, beginning at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Frankie’s Sports Bar & Grill, 425 West Third Street, Fort Worth, TX.
The event will feature a Q&A with the Indy 500 winner as well as the race champion participating in “Pro vs. GI Joe” video game competition on Frankie’s giant big-screen. “Pro vs. GI Joe” provides America's heroes with once-in-a-lifetime opportunities by pitting them against their favorite professional athletes and celebrities in heated yet fun video game competitions via the Internet and in person.
Frankie’s will feature:
- A special “500-cent” lunch special to honor the Indy 500 champ
- $2.75 drink special to celebrate the historic Firestone Twin 275s at TMS on June 11
Also:
- The first 100 fans that purchase a lunch and stay for the program will each receive two tickets to the Firestone Twin 275s and Ultimate Drifting presented by Scion and Motegi Racing, compliments of Texas Motor Speedway
- Special appearance by Becky of the “The Great American Sweethearts!”
