FORT WORTH, Texas (September 29, 2009) – Buoyed by 500 vehicles logging 1,500 laps around Texas Motor Speedway, Speedway Children’s Charities-Texas Chapter raised a record $40,460 from Saturday evening’s Laps for Charity II event.

FORT WORTH, Texas (June 23, 2009) – Two-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Tony Stewart is providing NASCAR enthusiasts with the chance of a lifetime through his “Smoke Show” fantasy driving camp and they have been responding to the unique opportunity.

Speedway Children’s Charities presents its annual Life in the Fast Lane Luxury Condo Tour and Progressive Feast on Thursday, June 4, at the Texas Motor Speedway Lone Star Tower. Guests will tour five of the most unique condominiums in the Lone Star Tower, enjoy food prepared by some of the most distinguished chefs in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, and experience premium wine and scotch tastings. The event will conclude with a live charity auction.

FORT WORTH, Texas – Legendary rock band Foreigner teamed up with Speedway Children’s Charities-Texas Chapter to donate half of the sales from its CD, “No End In Sight: The Very Best of Foreigner” sold leading up to the start of the Samsung 500 on Sunday, April 5. SCC volunteers sold 1,394 CDs at $20 each, making the contribution $13,940. In addition, Foreigner's autographed electric guitar donated for the SCC-Texas Live Memorabilia Auction sold for $6,000, bringing the total amount of funds raised to nearly $20,000.

Speedway Children’s Charities-Texas Chapter is looking for golfers for the AutoTrader.com Gears and Greens Charity Golf Classic scheduled for Thursday, April 2, at the Trophy Club Country Club in conjunction with Texas Motor Speedway’s Samsung 500 NASCAR race week.
