FORT WORTH, Texas (August 7, 2009) – The six-week Scion Drag-n-Brag program culminated in grand fashion as Friday evening’s season finale attracted a season-high 228 competitors and the four season champions were crowned at Texas Motor Speedway.

Ben Carter of Flower Mound, Texas won for the first time this seaon in the Street Outlaw Division driving his 1971 Buick GS, while Tony Ramadoni of Fort Worth, Texas won for the third time this season in the Street Bandit Division driving his 1993 Mazda RX7.

FORT WORTH, Texas (July 29, 2009) – With only two weeks left in the six-week Scion Drag-n-Brag schedule, racers will continue to make their push to earn the championship crown during Week 5 this Friday evening at Texas Motor Speedway.

Lonnie Hedrick, from Keller, Texas, won Best in Show in the Show-n-Shine car show in week 4 of SCION drag-n-brag.  His winning car was a 1932 Ford Roadster. 

Michael Newman took honors as the Best of Show with his 2003 Chevy Silverado SS Pickup in week 3 of the Show-n-Shine car show at Scion Drag-n-Brag.  Caleb Park won the Scion Division with his 2008 Scion xD, Coy Swenson won the Best Current Custom title in his 2008 Ford Mustang GT and Greg Hedum won the Best Classic with his 1955 Chevy BelAir.

Another Mustang took the Street Outlaw Division win Friday night in the second week of the Scion Drag-N-Brag at Texas Motor Speedway.  Randy Fuller of North Richland Hills, TX won the divison in a 1993 Ford Mustang.

FORT WORTH, Texas (May 29, 2009) –  Texas Motor Speedway President Eddie Gossage was joined by Fort Worth Mayor Mike Moncrief to unveil a new program Friday that will serve as an initiative to assist in curtailing illegal street racing in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex by providing a safer alternative at the world-class motorsports facility.
