Former Contestants From NBC's 'Biggest Loser' At SCION Drag-N-Brag Friday Night

Former contestants from NBC’s hit reality show The Biggest Loser – Brittany Aberle of Season 5 and Allen, Texas native Tracey Yukich from Season 8 – will compete in a ceremonial best-of-three drag race to kick off Week 4 of SCION Drag-n-Brag Friday evening.

Aberle and Yukich will participate in the opening ceremonies and help give away prizes during SCION Drag-n-Brag. Aberle, a native of San Jacinto, Calif., was a contestant on Season 5 of the hit reality show The Biggest Loser before being eliminated in Week 12. During her time on the show, she lost a total of 57 pounds. Yukich, of Allen, Texas, was a contestant on Season 8 of the The Biggest Loser. Yukich weighed 250 pounds at the start of the show and was eliminated in Week 8, but by the conclusion of the competition she had lost a total of 118 pounds.

Week 4 of SCION Drag-n-Brag will feature a “Tribute to Elvis” theme as fans can earn prizes by answering questions about “The King of Rock-n-Roll.” One fan will be awarded the grand prize, a VIP trip for two to WinStar World Casino. Rain has wiped out two of the first three weeks of the six-week long SCION Drag-n-Brag, but the forecast indicates clear weather for drag racers looking to flock to Texas Motor Speedway to compete this Friday. More than 100 local drag racers competed during Week 2 of the summer series and car enthusiasts participated in the Show-n-Shine car show.

SCION Drag-n-Brag admission for fans is $7, with competitor entry fees of $20 for SCION Drag-n-Brag and $15 for Show-n-Shine.

This sounds awesome. I was there on week two, had a blast. The sights, sounds and smells got my blood pump'n. I'm looking for a black Cobalt SS for a grudge match. LOL

Stop running that 400 HP EVO in the street bandit class. It's an 11 sec. 1/4 mile car for God's sake. Everyone else is running 300 HP cars that run 12's on a good day.

The clown driving that car this year is terrible. Dude was sleeping on the launch, kept missing gears and slow shifts 3rd and 4th cause he's scared. AND HE STILL WINS BY 2 AND 3 CAR LENGTHS.

WAKE UP TMS! Alan Hill, GTFO of the street bandit class. While you at it, teach that kid how to drive ya sleeper EVO. AWD burnouts in a stock car just don't happen. Way to show off, idiot.

what class do you want the EVO to run in? its qualified for the bandit class!! yea my buddy raced it because im on second shift at work and i cant make it out! it really sucks i wish i was there and able to run my own car but i cant!! hopefully they will have this next year also so i can b there, and i guess ill just have to run in the outlaw class so people will stop crying so much!! he was shifting to fourth slow because he just let out by 3rd because he was so far behing, and my second gear syncro is going out so it is hard to grab sometimes now. of coarse i can get it better than he can because i know the car he doesnt. by the way i did awd burnouts when my car was bone stock its easy because they have power from the get go!!!!

So let me get this straight...

The EVO (according to the Drag N Brag rules) belongs and was placed in the street bandit class correct?  Win, lose or draw if it belongs in the street bandit class according to the rules set so be it.

Ok, lets say the EVO moves up to the outlaw class and someone new dominates the street bandit class, is TMS to just keep moving cars to other classes until everyone wins or just until you win?

I'm not sure if this is good news or bad, but there should be better suited competion for the EVO this coming Friday.

BTW does anyone know how much power the Neon FRT puts down?  Sorry, SRT.

Most bandit street cars have less than 300 HP. The neon may be over this amount but it simply won't hook up. This EVO has 400 HP with launch control. It has internal work done plus a NONFACTORY Turbo. It has an agressive tune as well. It runs 11 second 1/4 miles. It can and SHOULD beat Z06 Vettes.  Instead of making tuners look good by smoking American muscle Mr. Allen Hill spends his time and money making stock tuner cars look bad.

I love watch'n um sweat when a 250 HP GOLF stages besides his sleeper EVO.

I got 100,000 hard miles on my transmission and I drive it daily. Engine and drivetrain love the abuse cause some crazy German dudes built it. The EVO's drivetrain was not built for 400 HP, CASE CLOSED.

Ya extra ponies done ruined the transmission.  Might Wanna build up the drivetrain 1st next time. Try WaveTech LSD's and better tires.

If the EVO has so much power how come there was only 1 to make into the quarter finals. The stock EVO's looked mightly slow that night.

This part is to Allen. With all do respect, you know without a doubt that you and your car belongs in a higher class than "Street Bandit". Every time you show up to run, you win... PERIOD! You call yourself a true drag racer. What you have done time and time again by showing up and allowing the staff to place you in the Bandit class and you continuing to race in said class, is showing your very poor sportsmanship. Your car runs an 11.6 second 1/4 mile (don't try and attest to otherwise) when a "stock" EVO is a 271hp 13.8 second capable 1/4 mile car. When you can put a highly in-experienced driver behind your cars wheel and still cross the finish line 2-4 car lengths ahead of ANYBODY, it's time to move on! Your car is fully capable of giving any Outlaw Class racer a run for their money and as an "enthusiast", that should be your goal. It's not the people crying that is the problem, it is you, and your inability to do what's right. Do you have the balls to do it though? We will see...

LilRed Talon... I don't know if you have ever been to this event, but if you have and are still saying that non-sense about someone else "dominating" the Street Bandit Class if the EVO left, you must have cataracts! Everyone, aside from Allen and his EVO, are as close to evenly matched as one could hope for. Races in that class can easily be decided by driver error. If someone misses a shift, they are done... If someone sleeps on the hand drop, they are done! So don't try and justify an argument why a 375+ AWD hp car racing a bunch of > 300 hp should be allowed. And if you think your TSi (just putting 2+2 together) can hold up against Allen's EVO, than I hope you have the balls to step it up to the Outlaw Class as well!

RAJUN CAJUN!!!

i sweat when a golf with  250hp pulls up next to me in my EVO?? r u serious thats to funny!! i would give it 5 cars head start and the jump on that short tms drag strip! anyways THE STIG--- i did not know what the bandit class had in store for it this year i did not know what kind of rules have changed since i have not been there this year!! i would run my car in the outlaw class this friday if i could make it but i cant i work nights! i will let my en-experienced driver buddy as you say..... drive it to because he has almost exact same driving experience in his car.. since it is most likely faster than my car!! and it has no lift to shift just like my car does! so en-experiened no!! its just because he doesent know the feel of the car as well so its a little different for him! i will put the evo in the outlaw class if my friend is up for it?? i get annoyted with all these whiny people every year crying because i get put in the class that i dont choose! i will give yall all the prize money i win next time... wait no money involved just a trophy nevermind! i go to import races every year alot bigger than tms and i get put in classes where i should never be able to win like 9 second supras and 10 second 2011 GTR's but do i complain to the people because its not fair no i dont i just go out and race anyway, even when alot of money can be won and pay good money to enter....!  how about i just move to outlaw now so everyone can be happy jeeze!!

One more thing... about my car having all these internal parts on it and being built, and having a bigger turbo.... you guys need to learn about cars before you drive them.. seriously! last year i had people talking crap saying it was not stock because it has a launch box on it.. hahahahahaha what the hell... a launch box... its called a 2 step and the factory ecu has it tuned into the car already!!!! I think we should get an evolution specialist or a car specialist out there friday so they can tell all of you that it really is a stock turbo!!!! its just an evolution a car that came with alot bigger turbo than the rest of the models and was built to race alot more that a scion or a civic and many other cars out there.. i understand being mad a little but i really didnt know what kind of classes they had this year! last year i went to bandit and lost to the silver rx7 which has an enormous turbo.. but i didnt complain! so i thought maybe bandit would be better competition this year since i did a new tune and was ready for the rx7!! i wont go back to the bandit class because i want to run zo6's and vipers and other muscle cars... they are my favorite to beat anyway so get ready outlaw class the dominating evo is coming!! lol hahaha

Hey Cajun, hey buddy your a real class act you know that, your gonna call me a clown?  I invite you to come say that to my face since you cant tell me when im right in front of you at the track you get on here and act like your tough.  I DID NOT CHOOSE TO BE IN BANDIT CLASS, TMS CHOSE FOR ME TO BE IN THAT CLASS!!!  You have no idea what the turbo on an EVO 9 is capable of.  When it all comes down to it you and your car were simply out classed.  If I didnt win it then the cobalt would have smashed on you too.  The guy in the cobalt was cool as hell and even gave me a tire press gauge, not to mention that he told me that his car ran 11.8 @ 117 mph so that from alans 11.6 is not so far fetched, if you really think I am so "Terrible" at driving here is a link for you to watch of me racing my car, its a FWD talon running 7.2 at 103,

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="www.youtube.com/.../jz1NF5__9gw&hl=en_US&fs=1"></param><param">www.youtube.com/.../param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="www.youtube.com/.../jz1NF5__9gw&hl=en_US&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

and well buddy I would like to see you try and do that, IT WAS MY FIRST TIME DRIVING ALANS CAR NOT TO MENTION RACING IT.  So there you go buddy suck it!  Now lets hear what you have to say to dig yourself in a bigger hole or look any more stupid.

I didn't even drive my car mostly last year someone else did. He lost to ya EVO in the finals. We knew it was fast but when I saw your 11 secound runs I figured you might wanna step ya game up. Also,  I didn't know how terrible you drove Friday night till I lost and you were getting praised for your weak performance.

I don't care what you say,  you lie to TMS and your fellow racers so WHO cares what you think of me. Play by your own rules before you SMASH ON ME. Idiot!

The rules have changed, let's see ya TMS paperwork.

There's no money, so stop beat'n on stock cars.

There's no glory, so step ya game up.

There's nothing to lose, then why you reading my post????

Two clowns in an EVO messing stock tuners, we are all impressed with your performance!  NowBackItUp.com.

Take it to the Texas Mile in October, I'll be running the Golf. Use ya winnings for gas money.

Others will thank you but I'll be in Sportsman's. Looking for a challenge against boost V6's and stock V8's. Drag-N-Brag to me means brag'n rights. I won't brag about being the fastest BANDIT, I will brag when I beat a stock V8 car. I can look up their performance #'s if needed. Week 2 was fun, week 4 kinda sucked. I personal did pretty good, I can't complain. I even have my dyno graph in the car. It's the lil GOLF that could. LoL, ha ha ha.

Google the TEXAS MILE in Goliad, TX. It's October 22, 23 and 24th. You get 1 mile to drive as fast as possible. Most people are looking for the 200 mile club. The AMS EVO was there in March, I watched them do 228 MPH in the standing mile. It produces over 1,000 HP with the stock engine block. I saw a busa do 261 MPH as well. Kinda figured you Texas boys would know of the TEXAS MILE.

You don't race other people,  you simply try to do your best. NowBackItUp.com should be there, they do half mile drags from a rolling start. A proud boy like yourself would do just fine in this type of racing.

Also, skela will be there with a 600 HP Golf. He ran 170's this past March. I think anything over 160 is impressive. Good luck and I'll probably see you there. ;)

Registration for the mile is August 15th, we expect it to fill up on day one. Check out the website, new pics and vids are up from the March 2010 event. I'll be there all weekend. It'll be the highlight of this racing season.

FIRST, Iwould to say that I really enjoyed being TMS for the Drag n brag. SECOND, I do realize that this all for fun [yes I was paying attention Orville], but when every time you go out youget beat by a minimum of 5 car lenths, the fun really stops and just becomes a beating. I drive a 1992 GMC Sonoma GT, stock 4.3 vortec with 200000 miles on it, stock trans , stock rear end, it does have drag radials and traction bars. from factory it's rated at 210hp.

Last year I ran in the tuner class and won one race in 5 nights. This year I've been bumped up to bandit class where I have no chance outside of some sort of dq . Last Friday I was issued a # in tuner class and actually won a race by 1/2 car lenth. I waited for over an hour for round 2 and was stoked by it pretty much until I was dq'ed for running in the wrong class. Most people have fun I a competive setting, when it less than competitive people lose interest. maybe some sort of timing system for qualifing is the answer, I don't know, but there does need to be some changes! Also the guy that turned me in to be dq'ed wasn't running bone stock himself {headers and cold air intake system}. Pot calling the kettle black as for as i'm concerned.
