FORT WORTH, Texas (May 29, 2009) –  Texas Motor Speedway President Eddie Gossage was joined by Fort Worth Mayor Mike Moncrief to unveil a new program Friday that will serve as an initiative to assist in curtailing illegal street racing in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex by providing a safer alternative at the world-class motorsports facility.

FORT WORTH, Texas (May 27, 2009) – Reigning Indianapolis 500 champion Helio Castroneves made a grand entrance into downtown Fort Worth on Wednesday, but it was with a lot less horsepower than he utilized this past weekend en route to his historic victory.

The Red Bull X-Fighters International Freestyle Motocross 2009 Exhibition Tour will serve as the featured pre-race entertainment for the Bombardier Learjet 550k IndyCar Series race on Saturday, June 6. The riders will perform along the frontstretch beginning at 7 p.m. CT, giving area Indy car fans a free taste of their talents before the Red Bull X-Fighters return to Fort Worth for the second consecutive year Saturday, June 27, to perform at the Fort Worth Stockyards.

CONCORD, N.C. -- The celebration everyone knew was coming arrived Saturday night at Lowe's Motor Speedway against a background of exploding fireworks. 

The real pyrotechnics, however, were reserved for the racetrack.

Tony Stewart passed Matt Kenseth through Turn 2 on Lap 99 of 100 to win the Sprint All-Star Race, his first victory in the annual non-points event and his first as an owner/driver.
