Can I bring a cooler to the race?
Yes, however it must measure no larger than 14" X 14" X 14" and contain no glass. Only one cooler per ticket holder in the grandstands. Seating at some events may not allow coolers in the stands.

Can I bring alcoholic beverages in a cooler to the Speedway?
You may bring alcoholic beverages into the grandstand areas, but not on suite level, Victory Lane Club or in the Village of Champions. NO GLASS IS ALLOWED.

Is there mass transportation available to come to the Speedway?
The Victory Lane Express bus service from Fort Worth to Texas Motor Speedway provides race fans with economical roundtrip service for the NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series races. How soon before the race should I plan on arriving at the Speedway?
Give yourself enough travel time, as well as additional time to stroll about the display areas set up around the speedway.
How long will it take me to get home after the race?
Take into consideration the number of people attending the event. Obviously, the more people and cars the longer it will take you to get home. Also, FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS OF THE PARKING ATTENDANTS, which will aid in getting everyone home quicker.
Can I use my cell phone at the speedway?
You can use your cell phone at the speedway, but keep in mind that access declines as the number of people attending an event increases. Do not rely on your cell phone if you need to relay or receive important information.
Are check cashing services available?
Texas Motor Speedway provides no check cashing services.
Are there ATM machines at the Speedway?
Yes. ATM locations vary by event.
Can I buy passes to get into the pits?
You can purchase pit passes for selected events by calling the ticket office at (817) 215-8500.
What are the rules and regulations for the pit area?
All individuals in the pit area must be at least 18 years of age or older. The dress code varies for each event, please CLICK HERE to see the guidelines. For more information, please call 817-215-8500.
How do I get drivers’ autographs?
Check our Web site’s Driver Appearances page, local newspapers and television for driver appearances/autograph sessions taking place around the Metroplex prior to the race. Please keep in mind that on race day, drivers, like all athletes, are concentrating on the task ahead and are rarely available.
Can I rent a scanner at the race?
Scanners are available to rent at merchandise stands located throughout the speedway grounds.
Where can I find a list of the scanner frequencies?
Scanner frequencies can be found in the official Texas Motor Speedway event program.
Is there a designated area to park a motorcycle?
The speedway does not have a reserved area for motorcycle parking.
Where do I pick up tickets?
Tickets can be picked up at the speedway’s main ticket office at all times. During event weeks tickets purchased through Texas Motor Speedway directly can be picked up either at the Main Ticket Office or Gate 4 when the gates are open. Tickets purchased through Ticketmaster, either online or over the phone, can be picked up at the Main Ticket Office or any staffed Ticket Booth. Where do I pick up credentials?
Credentials can be picked up at the Credential Office, which is located between the main ticket office and the dirt track. Credentials must be reserved in advance by sending a written request to: Texas Motor Speedway Credentials, P.O. Box 500, Fort Worth, Texas 76101-2500.
Is tram and shuttle service available from remote parking areas?
Texas Motor Speedway offers a AAA Texas Tram and Shuttle Service that continuously circles Lone Star Circle with several drop-off and pick-up stops. The AAA Texas Tram and Shuttle Service is free of charge.
If I cannot walk the distance from the parking area to the gates and back, who can assist me?
There are golf carts marked Track Shuttles that run during major race weekends that give fans a ride anywhere on speedway property. The carts are white and have blue top canopies. This is a FREE ride for all of our fans. Fan Stop Locations are outside of Gates 3, 5 & 6, on the infield at the South Paddock Parking entrance and in the parking lot at the Credentials building.
Does the Speedway have a Mobile App?
Yes! Texas Motor Speedway has a mobile application available for smart phones in the Android Marketplace or the iTunes App Store. The mobile app features interactive maps, schedules, the latest news from TMS and much more. Download the app here or search Texas Motor Speedway on your smart phone's downloading tool.
Can I drive my car or a racecar around the Speedway?
You bet! From time to time, TMS will make opportunities available for the public to drive around the speedway in their private vehicles as a fund raiser for Speedway Children’s Charities. Is handicap seating available?
Texas Motor Speedway seeks to provide reasonable accommodations for all qualified individuals with disabilities. Please contact the speedway ticket office at (817) 215-8500 in a timely manner to arrange for appropriate accommodations and seating.
What facilities are available for handicap parking?
Handicap Parking spaces exist on the front rows of the Express Lot, Crystal Lot Speedway Club, VIP/PSL Lot and the backstretch Dirt Track parking lot. These spaces, like most public parking areas, are for Handicap Individuals ONLY and are available on a first-come, first servedbasis.
Access to these areas requires a Certified Handicap Placard that is displayed prominently on the vehicle for inspection, and must be assigned to one of the occupants of the vehicle being parked.
Vehicles desiring access to the Express Lot, Crystal Lot and Speedway Club Handicap parking spaces must have the appropriate credential for entry into these areas. VIP/PSL and Dirt Track parking areas will accommodate general Handicap Parking needs when lots have been opened for public access.
Once all marked spaces have been filled, Handicap Patrons will be allowed to park anywhere within the VIP/PSL parking area in space available. Police personnel assigned to monitor marked Handicap parking areas will be issuing City Citations to those found in violation.

What food concessions are available?
A variety of foods such as nachos, hamburgers and hot dogs are available at concession stands located around the speedway.
What merchandise concessions are available?
Official Texas Motor Speedway souvenirs as well as drivers’ souvenir stands can be found at the speedway during event time.
Are alcoholic beverages available at the Speedway?
Beer and wine are available to purchase in the grandstand concourse during major race weekends. Texas Motor Speedway also continues its "fan friendly" policy of permitting fans to bring their own coolers with alcoholic beverages into the facility for major racing events.
What happens if my car breaks down?
Go to the security trailer across from the South Tunnel at the corner of Lone Star Circle and Allison Avenue and notify a security representative. A wrecker will be dispatched to your car and either help start your car or call for mechanical assistance.
What if I lock my keys in the car?
Go to the security trailer across from the South Tunnel at the corner of Lone Star Circle and Allison Avenue and notify a security representative. A locksmith will be dispatched to your car, and for a fee, will unlock your car.
What facilities are available if I have a medical problem?
Mobile medical teams patrol the speedway grounds. If in need of medical assistance, contact a speedway representative and give them the location (i.e. seat number and section) of the person in need of medical attention.
Is there a lost and found?
Yes. Contact a speedway security representative, and they will direct you to the lost and found, which is located at the security trailer across from the South Tunnel at the corner of Lone Star Circle and Allison Avenue during events. After an event, all lost and found items are transferred to the TMS Operations Department’s office.
What happens if my child and I become separated in the crowd?
Contact a TMS security representative and supply them with a description of the child such as name, age, color of hair, clothes they are wearing.
What camping facilities are available in the area?
Texas Motor Speedway has camping spaces available. Please call the speedway’s ticket office at (817) 215-8500 for locations and prices.
What dining, lodging and entertainment facilities are available in the area?
