Media Day 2009 - Live From Texas Motor Speedway

Texas Motor Speedway Media Day will feature Tony Stewart, Ryan Newman and Colin Braun of NASCAR along with Danica Patrick, Scott Dixon and Dario Franchitti of the IndyCar Series for the annual media kick-off luncheon in the Speedway Club’s Texas Grand Ballroom. The webcast will begin at approximately 12:05 p.m. CT and the 90-minute segment will feature TMS President Eddie Gossage’s state-of-the-sport address, Patrick, Dixon and Franchitti via satellite from an IndyCar test session in Homestead, Fla. and an on-stage Q&A session with Stewart, Newman and Braun.

Interstate Batteries Car Makes A Splash As It Returns To The Texas Motor Speedway Lake

FORT WORTH, Texas (February 20, 2009) – The No. 18 Interstate Batteries car cruised around Texas Motor Speedway today, but it wasn’t on the 1.5-mile track. Phillips and Herbert Win the Modified A Qualifiers at the Texas World Dirt Track Championships

Terry Phillips won the A Qualifier in the Modified class Friday night at the Texas World Dirt Championships at Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track. He will start at the front of the field on Saturday evening for the A Main.  The top 8 positions in the A Qualifier automatically advance to the A Main Saturday night for the championship.  Shane Herbert won the A Qualifier for the Limited Modified class.

FORT WORTH, Texas – Four-time World Wrestling Entertainment champion John Cena plays a New Orleans police detective in his new movie, “12 Rounds,” but on Wednesday at Texas Motor Speedway he found himself  in the role of a Roanoke, Texas police officer to promote the March 27 premiere.
