WHAT is the Texas Motor Speedway Fan Council?
The purpose of the Texas Motor Speedway Fan Council is to create a consistent open line of communication between the fans and Texas Motor Speedway management to discuss various subjects and make proactive recommendations that will aid in the growth of the Speedway. Texas Motor Speedway strives to continuously improve our business starting with the ticket purchase to the attendance of an event and plan to use the direct feedback and ideas from the Fan Council to continue to surpass expectations of both our most loyal fans and new fans. The Fan Council is in no way intended to replace the direct communication between all fans and Texas Motor Speedway staff; it’s truly designed to enhance the fan-TMS relationship.
WHO can participate on the Texas Motor Speedway Fan Council?
Texas Motor Speedway is looking for 20-30 individuals that have a passion for their home track and the experience it provides the fans. We are looking for diverse group of fans that consist of PSL holders, individual ticket purchasers, suite holders, campers, new fans, etc. that will commit to being active in providing constructive feedback with Texas Motor Speedway management for one race season.
WHEN and WHERE does the Texas Motor Speedway Fan Council meet?
On-site meetings will take place during the two NASCAR race weekends at Texas Motor Speedway:
- Saturday, April 14 – Approximately 10AM
- Saturday, November 3 – Approximately 3PM
Throughout the year, 3 teleconferences will also take place for about an hour.
Approximately 6 mandatory questionnaires will be sent via email during the term to help prepare TMS management for meetings or recap a race weekend.
Fan Council members will serve a term from February 17 – November 15. Once the term expires, new members will be chosen.
HOW can I apply for the Texas Motor Speedway Fan Council?
An online application will be available on texasmotorspeedway.com from January 16 – February 10. If you choose to print out the application instead of completing the online application below, mail the completed form to the address below no later than February 6 to ensure we receive by the February 10 deadline. Selections will be made on February 15 and members will be notified no later than February 17.
